A Message From The Desk of Justin Kaiser

Apr 3rd, 2008 | By Justin Kaiser | Category: @ Latest News from Justin Kaiser

Dear Clients and Partners,

I first want to thank you for your business and your loyalty over the years. If you’ve been with us for a while you know that we have experienced some recent growing pains. As we embark on the next growth stage of our company, I want you to know that the same commitment to service and creative offerings that our business was founded on will stay at the core of who we are and what we do.

Please let me take a moment to let you know about the changes that will be happening in our company in the very near future. We are experiencing tremendous growth… We appreciate your patience in working through some of these growing pains as we implement new features including…

  1. A New Name – We have become a global provider of creative web design, audio, and video production for radio, television, on-hold and corporate pod-casting. In order to provide this level of talent, we have partnered with some of the very best talent in our core industry. Justin Kaiser and Associates is now able to harness the synergetic energy of these associates as the Creative Identity Group.
  2. A New Service – Creative Identity Group had a vision. We’ve teamed up with a programming genius to create our Virtual Creative Services program. If you are a broadcast or similar outlet looking to streamline your operation, YOU WILL want to demo Creative Identity Group’s Virtual Creative Services.
  3. A New Website – In order to provide our customers with the latest news and featured audio and video we are updating our corporate blog regularly at www.CreativeIdentityGroup.com. This will allow us to not only keep you up to date, but it also allows us to really keep in touch with our customers.
  4. A New Web Server – We are transitioning away from the current Data Center in Miami and implementing a new web server for our customers at the FastServers Data Center in Chicago. If you host a web-site with Justin Kaiser and Associates you will eventually be moved to a new top of the line server featuring better load times for websites, more storage space and a happier experience :-)
  5. A New Studio – Pictures are worth a thousand words. We’ve made a significant investment into our future productivity.

Over the past 60 days and over the course of the next 90 days we will be bringing online more ways to obtain support as well as an easier way to track support for your Creative requests. We intend to become more aggressive in our maintenance schedule as new creative platforms launch, bringing you more services that you can use without a large up-front commitment or long contracts.

What really is changing, at the core, is that until now we have been an infrastructure building company. The work that has gone into Creative Identity Group since Jan of 2007 has been to transform it into a solution delivery organization. In plain terms that mean: we will no longer only build the web-sites and create the audio and video… we will focus on helping you take advantage of them.

Literally everything at Creative Identity Group is changing; expect more communication from me over the next few months detailing all that we’ve been working on. You’ll love what we have built, and we look forward to continuing down the path of offering solutions that make sense.

Again, thank you for your business as without your partnership in this organization we wouldn’t be able to say…

You’ll Be Podcasting Sooner or Later

Apr 3rd, 2008 | By Justin Kaiser | Category: Podcast Consulting

Three Reasons that you’ll be podcasting sooner or later:

  1. Your target market wants it. (They want choices for how they consume your content.)
  2. Your competitors want it. (They want to partner on and swap audio content.)
  3. You want it. (You know that you do!)

So just do it!

Buzz Buzz - Promoting Your Podcast

Apr 3rd, 2008 | By Justin Kaiser | Category: Podcast Consulting

Promoting an internet radio show is accomplished pretty much the same way that promoting a website is.

You need to create a website with enough content for the search engines to read and know what you are about. If you write two or three paragraphs about each show and archive several months worth of these show descriptions, that will accomplish a minimum of content.

You should also consider using some topic specific articles on the website and definitely add a blog. This will also help to feed the search engines.

To attract listeners you can:

  • Write and distribute press releases about your show.
  • Write and distribute articles on your topics.
  • Submit your website to directories.
  • Submit your blog to blog directories.
  • Submit your podcast feed to podcast directories.
  • Put ad in ezines and on related websites.
  • Try Pay Per Click advertising.
  • You must set up a ‘Link to Us’ page with text links and graphics for your fans to grab and use to link to you.
  • You may also want to try setting up a link exchange directory and trade links with complimentary websites.

When you have your voice over expert create your show intro and commercial segues, you will also want to order a 30 second show promo that can be traded with other show hosts. The promo should identify your show name, topic and web address.

Definitely consider promoting your show offline. Put your web address and show title on the back window of your car in vinyl letters. Carry business cards with listening instructions with you and pursue every opportunity to appear as a guest on offline radio programs.

I’ll be staying in touch with regular tips, tricks, tech and promotional updates. Internet Radio is booming and as I spot trends or learn something new that can help you, I’ll be sure to share it with you.
